The gospel creates a new community who lives for Christ in all the world.
Gospel
The gospel is the good news about Jesus Christ and what he has done to forgive our sins, to defeat death and hell, and to restore us to the life we were created to live together (Matt. 1:21; Mark 1:15; 1 Cor. 15:1-11; Eph. 2:16).
Community
The church is God's community of forgiven sinners, a reconciled people who join together to proclaim all of Christ in all of life for all the world (Mark 12:30-31; Acts 2:42-47; 2 Cor. 5:18-20; Eph. 2:19-21; 2 Pet. 2:9-12).
World
The world is a theater for the glory of God, where every aspect of life is an occasion for God's people to declare the greatness of our Creator, Redeemer, and Lord (Ps. 24:1; Matt. 5:13-16; John 20:21; 1 Cor. 10:31; Rev. 4:11).
